October Programme

Tuesday 1st October – Gondola and Luge

Let’s head to Rotorua for the day! We will enjoy a gondola ride up the mountain and be riding on the infamous Luge; you do not want to miss this!

Wednesday 2nd October – Waitomo Caves

Join us to come and walk through the Waitomo caves and see the incredible glow worms! We will enjoy some hot chocolates afterwards to warm up. 

Thursday 3rd October – Inflatable world and movies

You can jump, play battle wars and throw yourself at the Velcro wall all morning before we head to the movies to see the latest film.

Blue Mountain Adventure Camp

8th - 11th October 2019

Come with us and enjoy an awesome week of adventure and fun! We will have lots of activities prepared for camp and you will get to see your friends from Auckland and Bay of Plenty. We can’t wait to see you there!

Waihi Beach Short Break

1st – 3rd November

Come and catch some waves at the Beach in Waihi with us. We have a beachfront Bach for a fabulous relaxing weekend in the sun, playing games, swimming and boogie boarding!

Escape Room Night!

Youth and Young Adults

Saturday 23rd November, 5:30pm - 9:30pm

Let’s go out for dinner and mingle with friends before we put our minds together and work out how to escape the escape room! 

½ carer support day + $30 deposit

Little Waihi, Maketu Getaway

10th - 13th December

​

Let’s go explore Little Waihi and meet up with the Bay of Plenty crew! We will be exploring beaches and rockpools, swimming and getting in touch with nature in the sunny Bay of Plenty!

Rarotonga Getaway

March/April 2020 (exact dates TBC)

By the time you receive this newsletter, we will have completed our first International Getaway for the Waikato and Bay of Plenty to the Gold Coast. Next...Rarotonga! This will be a highly memorable getaway with plenty of activities, entertainment, beach time and shopping. To express your interest please email info@recreate.org.nz

Auckland Getaway

20th – 24th January

This summer we have a Getaway to Auckland for the first time in a while. We have an enormous villa booked, and we will be in convoy with the Waikato youth and young adults. This will be a great 5 days away featuring Rainbows End, dinner in town, Parakai Hot pools and more!

Pizza and Movie Night!

Saturday 19th October, 5pm - 9pm

Let’s enjoy some delicious pizza with friends, and then go watch Dora and the lost city of gold at the cinema!

Christmas Party!

Saturday 7th December, 5pm – 9pm

It’s Christmas time and we are having a party! Join us on this special occasion to celebrate Christmas and play secret Santa!
