BOOKING REQUEST

  1. The booking request is a record of personal details and requested programmes, and does not guarantee a place on a programme. Details must be complete and accurate in order to confirm request.
  2. All booking requests are processed by Recreate NZ staff, at which point booking request outcomes are sent to parents/guardians/caregivers.
  3. Recreate NZ, at it’s absolute discretion, reserves the right to determine the final make up of any group it has responsibility for.

PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS

  1. Payments for programmes can be made using Carer Support or Individualised Funding. If those funding options have been exhausted, cash payments are still accepted.
  2. Carer Support forms are to be signed by the parent/caregiver and given to Recreate staff upon programme commencement.

  6. Recreate NZ reserves the right, and at the participant’s or parent/caregiver’s expense, to use the services of Baycorp (NZ) Limited or another debt recovery organisation to recover outstanding payments.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Bookings that are cancelled for any reason by the parent or caregiver, including illness, anxiety, injury or bereavement, are treated as follows:

IHC New Zealand / Recreate NZ South Auckland Programme Offerings

Following on from the successful IHC New Zealand-collaborated programmes in the Waikato, Hawke's Bay and Christchurch over 2025-26, we are now so excited to bring this fully-funded programme offering for residents of South Auckland, aged between 15-25 years old, and fitting into our current Recreate NZ participant guidelines over 2026-27. Spaces are limited due to transport, accommodation and activity provisions, and regular Recreate NZ Booking Request rules apply as stated above.

These programmes will be available to view and request in the 'Youth' section of the Auckland region, identified by the IHC logo, from 1st October 2026 until 1st October 2027, and will feature the following programme types:

Urban: Either half day (4 hours) or full day (7 hours) of fun in and around Auckland, starting and finishing at a South Auckland location for ease of access. These could be a trip to the markets, an adventure to Wero in Manukau, good food or ten pin bowling.

Getaways: Multi-day recreational programmes where participants venture around the country to experience new places and new activities. These Getaways will take place for 3 days over the weekends, allowing for plenty of time to make the most of our beautiful country.

Short Breaks: Similar to Getaways, Short Breaks are weekends out of the city in a safe and relaxing environment with small groups of friends. As opposed to our larger Getaway offerings, Short Breaks are all about slowing down and taking it easy in beautiful environments.

Youth Camp: We are so thrilled to host a Youth Camp as part of this offering. This Youth Camp will provide great personal growth opportunities through the great outdoors. We partner with local outdoor providers or instructors who lead us through incredible, safe and engaging outdoor activities.

To take up this offering, you must be currently residing in the following suburbs of South Auckland:

· Central Hubs & Commerce: Manukau (Manukau Central), Ōtāhuhu, Wiri.

· The Māngere Area: Māngere, Māngere Bridge, Māngere East, Airport Oaks.

· Ōtara & Papatoetoe: Ōtara, Papatoetoe, Middlemore, Clover Park.

What: Urbans, Getaways, Short Breaks and Youth Camp programmes
