An all new camp experience for Recreate! We are heading to Rotoiti Lodge in St Arnaud - the beautiful Nelson Lakes District! The team there have planned some awesome activities for us - weather dependant we will kayak on the lake, try their high/low ropes, abseiling courses, and check out the local nature! This is a brand new camp destination for us, can't wait to see you there!!

Hop aboard the Christchurch City Tram for a journey through the city, then enjoy experimenting with texture and design in a creative workshop at the Christchurch Art Gallery

We're heading back to one of our favourite spots, Willowbank! Come along for a fun day of animal encounters and good company.

Start the day with some high-speed fun on the go-kart track, then head back to Recreate for an afternoon of games!

This day was such a hit in our last holidays, we're ready to do it again! Get ready for an epic laser strike battle, followed by a delicious lunch, and then wind down with some classic board games.

Unleash your inner artist in the morning, then get ready to make a splash and get soaked at Waterworld!

Relax and rejuvenate in the warm waters of He Puna Taimoana Hot Pools, then settle in for a relaxing afternoon watching a movie on the big screen!

Join us for a day out at Sumner Beach! We've got a surf lesson, barbecue, and beach games lined up for a fun-filled day.

Tuesday's (14th October - 2nd December).

In this 8-week course we will delve into the wellbeing principles of Te Whare Tapa Wha. Through group discussion and practice-based learning, we will identify and strengthen our own pillars of wellbeing. Our goal is to teach healthy habits and practices that will promote wellbeing and help you live a fuller life. A big focus for our activities will be low-impact movement, healthy eating, and mindfulness.

Tuesday's (14th October - 2nd December).

Community and Gardening days are awesome! This 8-week course will be spent at the Richmond Community Garden learning all things gardening - from how to grow vegetables to harvesting the produce as well as groundskeeping skills. We will also have days out engaging with our community. Come along as we learn to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. The skills we learn are transferable to employment and aim to prepare our young people for the workplace.

Wednesday's (15th October - 3rd December). Get ready to whip up some culinary and craft magic! This is a skills-based module focused on developing practical and employable skills. Half of this 8-week course will focus on building kitchen confidence and mastering a range of cooking skills. The other half will focus on craft skills with textiles, paint, and hard materials. We will also develop our customer service and sales skills when we take our products to markets.

Wednesday's (15th October - 3rd December).

Let's get On The Move! Come join us on Wednesday's for 8-weeks to learn about why we should stay active, and how we can do it. We will try lots of new ways to stay active like waka ama, dancing, surfing and heaps more. On The Move is a great opportunity to try new things, find out what activities you like, and build on skills.

Friday 17th - Sunday 19th October.

Enjoy a relaxing weekend at a peaceful farm stay in Little River. We'll unwind in nature, spend time with friends, and maybe even take a trip into Akaroa to explore!

Join us for a quiet day of crafting and a pottery class at RuffShuffler with friends!

Come along for a class where we will be jewellers and create our own clay earrings with 'Kerur? Creations'. You can keep these for yourself or gift them to someone else - the perfect handmade present!

Let's go stay in Mt Lyford together! We'll take a road trip on Saturday and hit the Hanmer Hot Pools during this relaxing Short Break.

We are thrilled to collaborate with IHC for this very special camp for Youth and Young Adults from Recreate and IHC-affiliated groups. Two vans, 18 participants, one destination! For this weekend camp, we are heading to stay at Gunns Bush Camp near Waimate. Get ready to make new friends, visit friendly wallabies, and play fun team games! On Saturday night, we will be having the ultimate Disco Talent Show with lights and microphones!

Friday 7th - Sunday 9th November.

For this Lad's Club Getaway we'll be living it up in a beautiful house on the Cashmere Hills. On Saturday we'll go out for a walk, play some team sports, and end the night with a fancy dress dinner! In our downtime we'll watch some movies, play games, and hang out in the spa pool at the house.

Come join us for social night of fun! We will be meeting up with one of our Getaway groups for a pot luck style dinner, games and dancing.

Come join us for an epic adrenaline filled day in the Glen tui Canyon. We will splash down waterfalls, ride zip lines and enjoy the beautiful scenery during this exciting day.

Thursday 20th - Sunday 23rd November.

It's Road Trip time! Pack your bags and get ready to see the sights. We will visit Aoraki Mt Cook, Wanaka, and Queenstown on this exciting adventure.

Get ready for Kura Tawhiti (Castle Hill)! This special Getaway is open to Youth and Young Adults from Recreate and IHC-affiliated groups, and we can't wait to get started! Ditch the city for giant boulders, epic views, and hilarious group antics. It's a weekend of laughs, legends, and unforgettable memories amongst the Southern Alps!

Thursday 27th - Sunday 30th November.

Ready for an outdoor challenge? Saddle up for this 4-day Seeking Summits programme. We're heading to the West Coast to cycle the West Coast Wilderness Trail! We'll have two full days of cycling and each night we'll catch a bus back to our snazzy accommodation to rest and hang out. This will be a trip to remember!

Pack your bags and get ready for a weekend escape to the charming seaside town of Akaroa! We'll explore the town's hidden gems, take a short scenic walk to Newton's waterfall, and maybe even enjoy some fish and chips by the water.

Calling all builders and LEGO lovers! For this urban we'll be hanging out at LOOP and building LEGO, you'll get to make your own custom minifigure and take it home! We'll also have lunch and watch the LEGO movie together.
