The purpose of this is to offer the chance for people to try out our Mid-Week programme without having to commit to the entire term's course. So come give it a go and join us for a sample of active living course where we find fun ways to keep fit and healthy in our day to day lives! On The Move focuses on learning fun ways to keep active and move our body, plus trying new things we may not have done before. We will go out and do a couple fun activities over the day that will keep us active while also having a heap of fun! If you want to do more, you're more than welcome to book in for both our open days & the 4-week course! ($150 per session).

Wednesday's, 21st October - 2nd December. Our Moxie midweek is back! This will be a 7-week term. Get ready to create and engage with our community on Wednesday's! The skills we learn are transferable to employment and aim to prepare our young people for the workplace. So come along if you are interested in this exciting midweek opportunity!

Adventure is out there! We are going to head to Christchurch to find it! We'll be doing lots of activities to explore the area, that will be fun and exciting on this 4-day Getaway! We will also join Recreate Christchurch for their Halloween Urban! *Flights will be a seperate additional cost for this programme.

We are going to visit Kapiti Vaulting to meet their horses and enjoy a supported riding experience. This will be perfect for beginners or those wanting some extra horse time.

A programme unlike any other! Let's spend 1 night sleeping at the Zoo! We'll get to see what happens after hours and how they care for the animals. With a private tour with the rangers, we'll also overlook monkey island when we go to sleep. This is the perfect opportunity to try an overnight with Recreate, or a unique experience for the animal lovers! *Higher cost programme due to overnight stay.

Join us for this short 4-week Life Skills course! This programme is 9am - 3:30pm, on four Tuesday's: 24th Nov, 1st Dec, 8th Dec, and 15th Dec. On The Move focuses on healthy living, learning fun ways to keep active and move our body, plus trying new things we may not have done before we will do a range of activites, an example of some may be basketball, rugby skills, swimming, archery, golf, bushwalks, bowling etc. We'll also be learning cooking skills & making some yummy dishes along the way that we can make at home. If you want to do more than 4-weeks, you're more than welcome to book in for both our open days & this 4-week course! ($150 per session).

Thursday 10th - Sunday 13th December 2026. Summer is finally here! We're heading to the Bay of Plenty for a 4-day Getaway to relax in the sunshine and explore all the cool things that this region has to offer us. This will be the perfect time for us to do a mixture of fun activities, downtime and time to connect as a group as we start to wind down for the year.

Let's go to Timezone! We are going to have a day at the arcade and do some awesome ceramic painting!

Game on! We will spend the day playing lots of fun games from board games- to Kahoots- to games around the room! We'll also enjoy a nice lunch together!

A classic combo! We'll be having a blast today playing games of both bowling & laser tag, so get pumped - this day will be a lot of fun.

A day of simple pleasures - going to the cinema to see a fun movie, heading out for a yummy lunch, and hanging out with our friends from Recreate, what could be better?

Let's get out and show off our Dunking skills by shooting some hoops! We'll follow that up with an epic game of Gelly-ball and finally we'll end the day at a cafe for a sweet treat.

Are you a fan of all the exciting film history that Wellington has to offer? Join us for a behind the scenes tour of Weta Workshop and see all the wonderful secrets they're hiding in that cave of theirs!

Roar! We are going to have a dinosaur themed day! We will be fossil finders, dino explorers, and go to Carlucci land mini golf! It'll be all things Jurassic.

It's time for Recreate's Got Talent! Prepare your dancing, singing, comedy routine, magic, or even your favourite art piece- anything you can think of, and we'll have a fun evening seeing the awesome talent at Recreate! We'll also have dinner together.

It is our annual Halloween party, but not only that there is the mystery of a murder afoot and everyone is a suspect - We'll solving the murder on this Halloween day, party with yummy food & drinks and have lots of fun together.

Another classic Movies & Dinner programme! We'll be heading out to the cinema to see a new film, playing some friendly games & going out for dinner in a super fun filled day.

Let's go girls! We'll have a manicure and do some bead making, making our hands and wrists look fabulous!

We're having a video games hang out! Come spend some time with your friends as we play different video games and compete with lots of fun together. Complete with snacks, drinks & slushies for everyone to enjoy.

It is time for the yearly pantomime at Circa theatre and this time it is 'Beauty and the Beast'! We'll spend Sunday together having fun, playing some games & ending it with a fun show.

Teddy Bear tea party with a twist! The twist being we are going to make our own bears at Build-a-Bear Workshop. We'll have some afternoon tea together too! It'll be a bear-y tea-rrific day!

We'll be making epic slime creations together and watching the new Disney 'Hexed' movie at the cinema!

Love cute and cuddly animals? Well, this is the day for you then!! Today we will be going to visit & explore Staglands while feeding all the adorable animals they have to offer along the way!

Somes Island awaits! We'll be taking the ferry across to the magical Somes Island to explore it's natural beauty and then finishing off the day with a yummy ice cream

Consider yourself a keen escape artist? It is our time to tackle another escape room and see if we have what it takes. Following our daring escape we'll spend some cooling off at the pool & zooming down the hydroslides!

Have you played tag before? Not like this you haven't! We're going to be playing a few rounds of a very fun & exciting game Archery Tag (with foam arrows). Then to finish off our holiday programmes for the year, we're going to go and jam some games at the arcade.

Gosh is it that time already? It is time for our annual Christmas Party so put on your festive clothing and come celebrate another year with your friends from Recreate!
